Drawing Water From the Wells of Salvation, Ken Chan

In the Full-Time Training in Anaheim, I am being trained to turn to the Lord everyday and every moment to enjoy Him as the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3 says “Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation.” I can testify that the Lord is really the wells of salvation that we can draw water from. Every morning in the Training when I get up, our house starts drawing water from the wells of salvation by calling on the name of the Lord together (Romans 10:13). In this way, we speak to the Lord first before we speak to any other person. Then in our ride to the Training Center, we continue to drink the water by calling on the Lord and praying to get refreshed. After breakfast, we have 25 minutes of personal time with the Lord. I have been learning to fellowship with the Lord and enjoy the Lord during this time. To me, this time becomes more and more precious in the Training. Without this time, what I learn from the classes doesn't mean as much, but if I have an enjoyable time with the Lord, I gain a lot from the class and I have the presence of the Lord that day. Then in the afternoon, since this term, I have started to build up the habit of spending 15 minutes to pray to the Lord, especially for my family. I can testify that the Lord is real and faithful, and my prayer is being answered gradually. In short, I appreciate the Training for training me to take time to fellowship with the Lord and enjoy Him as the wells of salvation.
